WelcomePaused What's New at IAFF 1033
Engine 101 arrived at Station 1 from Firematic in Rocky Hill. Radios, tools and hose still need to be installed prior to being placed "in service".

Earlier this month, members of the Engine 101 truck committee flew out to Pierce Fire Apparatus in Appleton, Wisconsin. The trip was for the final construction inspection of the fire engine. The functional testing of the truck was done in negative temperatures. The new truck should arrive in Connecticut by January 20 and hope be in service by mid-February. It will be replacing the current Engine 101 (1986 Pemfab/ American Eagle pumper).
The firefighters at Local 1033 would like to congratulate Captain Kevin Theriault on returning back to work today. The Captain hit the floor running, reviewing trucks and equipment, paperwork, and a few calls.
Congratulations and Welcome Back!
